Our new Mindful Group Therapy (Level 2) will be starting April 15, 2014 Sessions will occur every Tuesday morning from 11:15 to 12:30. We will have a new topic for discussion in group each week, as well as mindful meditation in a group setting.
These sessions are restricted to those who have already taken the full 8 week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
Topics for discussion in the group will be posted in advance of each session. Each one is sure to provide a delight in moving forward in your mindfulness practice.
Please feel free to bring any cushions, mats, or blankets as you wish. We do have a supply of mats and cushions here for those who do not have them.
Please notify our office via phone or email regarding which sessions you are attending as we need to limit the size of the group.
Dates for our Spring MBCT Group 8 week session are as follows: Tuesdays 9 am to 11 am starting Tuesday April 1, 2014 (no joke!)
We already have a list going for people who wish to participate. If you wish to be added to the list, email us as soon as possible. If you are not already a patient of mine, you must book an assessment appointment prior to starting the group.
Hello everyone! We are wrapping up our Fall curriculum this week and have planned for our winter sessions. These sessions will begin on Tuesday January 14, 2014 and run every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 for 8 weeks. There will be no winter evening sessions. If you are interested, please email us as soon as possible to set up your pre-admission appointment as these spots are filling up fast!
MBCT groups are starting in October 2013!
Mindfulness is about developing our ability to pay attention to the present moment; just as it is. Much of our stress and pain is caused by our regrets about the past, worries about the future, or judgements about the present.
We will have daytime and evening group times available. The MBCT groups will meet for 8 weekly sessions of approximately 2 hours each at the office:
